The Minister of the Future Roads, Lilian Greenwood, said: “The schools are the heart of the beating of our cities and communities and running the loaders here shows that we are building a practical and reliable loading network, designed in the daily life of people.

“Touching 1,000 sockets to schools is a very significant stage and is based on a record for sales of electric cars, as consumers’ confidence in electric transition increases every day. This helps to support jobs, makes the United Kingdom a clean electricity and deliver us.”

Chris Norwood, the director of the Northfleet Girls’ School, said: “Developing an ecological site is an important part of our school vision and practice. We managed to play the role in reducing emissions while working with students to educate a more durable future. Ensuring the best possible education for our students.

“The car loaders have created over 2,000 pounds in the additional financing of the school, which has contributed to the creation of an additional class for all the students to use. We expect that, modeling the best possible environmental practice, we support our students to be proactive in this field in their adult life.”
