Carbonized human skeleton found inside the burnt truck in Johor

BATU BAHAT: A carbonized human skeleton was discovered inside a four -wheeled truck (4WD), at the Batu 3 cemetery on Jalan Yong Peng, Ayer Hitam, from here.

Batu glass OCPD Asst Comm Shahrulanu Mushaddat Abdullah Sani said the police received a report on the burnt vehicle from a local man.

“The burnt truck was discovered by a 45-year-old man working as a serious digger at 13:00, Thursday (February 27),” he said in a statement.

ACP Shahrulanuar said that a forensic pathologist at the Criminal Department of Kluang Hospital, together with the police, again reviewed the site on Friday (February 28) to carry out further investigations.

“The autopsy performed by the pathologist from Sultanah Nora Ismail Batu Pahat The hospital found that the corpse was 100%burned, and the cause of death is classified as severe burn – the carbonized body,” he added.

ACP Shahrulanuar said the police will investigate the case as a sudden death report (SDR).
