Five key statistics that will come out of bahrain running

The testing F1 2025 is now complete, and each team is probably again at the base base, we have compiled some of the title statistics from the three running days.

Of course, for now we cannot dig too deep in the title times in the sessions, but here are some of the statistics that we can get from three productive days around Bahrain.

Reliability is always the first obstacle to any test team, and with all 10 teams wiping 100 laps a day, this should be a big “tick” for each garage so far.

Here’s each team of each team, Mercedes has exceeded the tops with a single tour before Haas. For reference, the total number of laps represents 68.35 high prize distances around Bahrain – or far enough to fly from London to Bahrain, return, then make the same trip again.

1.054 – completed rookie laps

Five young drivers join the full -time grid this season and have managed to complete over 1,000 laps between them, because they are preparing for their first full running 1.

Liam Lawson took over his first pre-season test in Formula 1, but was not counted here, given his previous experience in two separate stints.

Most Tours of a Rookie? Isack Hadjar, who accumulated 246 for Racing Bulls, with Gabriel Bortoleto, watched the least for a Rookie with Sauber, although he managed another 177 in his running.

Ollie Bearman seemed to focus first of all long Haas during his 197 laps, Jack Doohan took 208 valuable laps for Alpine, while Kimi Antonelli won 226 laps at the Mercedes W16 steering wheel.

+0.169s – a sign of progression?

Carlos Sainz set the fastest period in Testing at the steering wheel of Williams, 1: 29,348 at only 0.169 outside the POL Time of Max Verstappen last season and, for what deserves, would have been good enough for a place in the first row.

But this was last year and, while it is nine tenths faster than Alex Albon managed in Bahrain qualifying last year, it is a show about how far these cars arrived under the stable regulations of Formula 1.

It is a positive sign for Williams that they have made this progress so far, but their rivals will also have steps – so, as with the biggest winnings in Formula 1, it is not about how much you improve, but how much you improve compared to those around you.

10 – taking in new surroundings

While several TPC outputs took place, for 10 of the 20 drivers, this was their first official pre-season test, or as a formula driver, or with new teams.

Alphabetical, Kimi Antonelli, Ollie Beerman, Gabriel Bortoleto, Jack Doohan, Isack Hadjar, Lewis Hamilton, Nico Hulkenberg, Liam Lawson, Esteban Ocon and Carlos Sainz led to a vital opportunity to work with their new teams for the new year.

260 and 133 – the range of kilometers of testing

Ocon was the one who recorded the most laps of any driver throughout the test, lifting 260 tours in Bahrain for Haas, because it becomes acclimated to its new team.

On the other end, Lance Stroll managed 133 for Aston Martin, while the disease excluded it from a running portion on the last day, but given how insecure other cars from other teams have been shown, 133 laps is still a respectable show.
