Man arrested in fatal attack near Hillcrest gas stations

A 55 -year -old man was arrested on Saturday suspicion that he had fatally assaulted another man in front of a Hillcrest gas station, the police said.

The man was accused of collecting his 61-year-old victim and hitting the man’s head on the ground, near a gas station, on Washington Street, near the fourth Avenue, shortly before 5:00 pm, said the Lieutenant in San Diego, Lou Maggi, in a press release. Witnesses on the spot called 911 and told the dispatchers that the attacker was last seen going west.

When the officers arrived, they found the unconscious victim. They administered help before being transported to the hospital, but did not survive. The victim’s name was not released waiting for his family’s notification.

The officers found and arrested Solomon Guerrero near the intersection between West Washington Street and Albatross Street, Maggi said.

Guerroro was reserved in the central prison in San Diego under the suspicion of crime.
