32 -year -old woman accused of Dui in Ledyard

Ledyard, conn. (WFSB) – A woman is experiencing more accusations after driving under the influence in Ledyard on Saturday morning.

According to the Ledyard Police Department, around 1:13, the officers patrolled the area of ​​the Groton Road center and saw a car driving to the north.

The police decided to make a traffic stop after seeing the individual leadership of 62 MPH in a 40 MPH area and traveled on one side and constantly crossing the double-yellow central line.

When the officers were talking to the driver, they noticed alcohol coming from her breath and saw that the person had glossy eyes.

The driver’s permit has been expired and could not ensure its vehicle insurance.

He was asked to perform a standard sobriety test and failed.

Officials identified the driver as 32-year-old Bethany Chinigo from Ledyard.

Chinigo was arrested and faces the following charges:

  • Non -observance of a minimum insurance
