“I didn’t know how he did it, but I knew he did it and I told him this from the beginning,” Laura, Brenda Willsey told WPTV on Friday.

A statement of statement provides more details about an argument between Willsey, Reichert and Timothy Wyman Smith, 64, who was captured on surveillance videos.

On July 29, a dispute for refrigerator at Casa Garden Avenue, where Willsey lived led to Reichert apparently hitting Willsey.

According to a witness who gave a statement sworn in October 2024, Reichert and Smith were talking in the main bedroom and Willsey was in a bedroom, when Smith said Willsey is going to press accusations against Reichert for assaulting him and that he would “snatch” him.

The statement confirms that Willsey was working as a confidential informant for the North Palm Beach Police Department, about a theft case in which Reichert, Smith and Michael Vincent Ohler were suspect. WPBPD detectives have come in contact with detective R. Johnson with the North Beach Police Department, who expressed Willsey concern could have been targeted for her involvement in this case.

The witness says Reichert then entered the bedroom where Willsey was and heard Reichert hitting Willsey. The witness then heard the plastic garbage bags being dragged through the bedroom and living room. Reichert told the witness that he would go to Belle Glade and not take his phone to avoid “pursuit”.

Reichert was arrested on August 1, 2024, under accusations that are not related to Willsey’s disappearance, and Volkswagen from 2010 who was leading the night when Willsey disappeared was towed in a bay of the crime scene. A report of the DNA in Reichert’s vehicle showed blood found on the carpets that fits Willsey’s blood.

Reichert is currently in prison in Palm Beach County.
