The coroner in Lee County Investigate the accidental death of a firefighter

Lee County, Miss. (WCBI) – The coroner’s office in Lee County is investigating the accidental death of a firefighter.

Coroner Carolyn Green said that Terry Dykes, 58, from the Pinedal Volunteer Fire Department fell from a fire truck on Saturday, March 1.

Dykes was at work with the department at the time of the incident.

He was taken to the North Mississippi Medical Center in Tupelo.

He died on Monday, March 3, as a result of his wounds.
