Gilgeous-alexander scores 51 as Thunder Top Rockes 137-128 for 50th victory

Oklahoma City -Shai Gilgeous-Alexander scored 51 points, and Oklahoma City Thunder defeated Rockets Houston 137-128 Monday evening for the 50th victory of the season.

Gilgeous-Alexander has reached 50 points for the fourth time this season, all in the last seven weeks. The NBA notation leader finished at least 40 for the ninth time in 2024-25. He did 18 out of 30 goals, went 5 out of 9 on 3-first and hit all 10 free throws.

Jalen Williams added 24 points to Thunder (50-11).

Cam Whitmore is suitable for career levels with 27 points and 11 recovery, and Reed Sheppard has added the best 25 points for missiles.

Houston was without injured Alperen (the pain of the lower back), thumbson (right shoulder), Dillon Brooks (right knee), Fred Vanvleet (tight right ankle) and Esseon countries (bottom left).

The largest leadership in Houston was nine points at the beginning of the second quarter, but Thunder was rallied to lead 63-62 to the break behind 28 points from Gilgeous-Alexander.

Oklahoma City has taken over the third. Gilgeous-Alexander was up to 45 points by the end of the period, and Thunder drove 102-89 heading for the fourth.

Houston made a final press, closing the gap at six before Thunder regained control. Lu Dort made 3-first seconds back at 29 seconds, extending Oklahoma City leadership to 120-106.

Gilgeous-Alexander has reached 50 points on an attack a little less than three minutes to provide Oklahoma City an advantage of 132-120.
