Dudley police address a range of offenses in the week of action – from fraud to car theft

West Midlands police Dudley’s Neighborhood police teams were on the streets to address the crimes that affect the most residents.

During the week of action, the officers addressed a variety of crimes, from fraud, drug holding and cars theft.

As part of the week of action, Brierley Hill The officers stopped a suspicious vehicle that drove through Wollescote, where they found that the driver had only a provisional permit.

The vehicle was confiscated, where a quantity of cocaine and cannabis was found during a search.

In a separate incident, the team also stopped a vehicle that was driving recklessly by Brierley Hill, where a man was arrested under the suspicion of driving beverages.

Another car that had been linked to another car was taken off the road, the suspect of the car was detained following a foot chase, and the car was confiscated because it has no insurance.

Halesowen The police team also had a busy week, in which they observed and stopped a stolen vehicle being driven in Lye and also stopped a car driven on fake dishes in the center of Halesowen.

In addition to the crime of vehicles, the team also arrested a suspect of thief of stores in the city, who has since been accused of several crimes of theft.

Speaking of the action, a West Midlands police spokesman said: “Our teams are always out of discussions with residents, schools, junior PCSOs and Cuppa with copper events.

“Officers in the city of Dudley were also involved in a fraud and scam event, teaching people how to avoid being a victim of things like distraction offenses.”
