Mother alone sentenced to 10

Putrajaya, March 4 a single mother was sentenced to 10 years in prison by the Court of Session today, after finding her guilty for sexually assaulted her daughter of her neighbor 13 years ago.

Judge Datin M. Kunasundary pronounced the 36 -year -old woman’s sentence, who has two children after finding that the defense failed to raise reasonable doubts at the end of the defense case.

“After the court examined and considered all the evidence of the witnesses of criminal prosecution and defense, the court found that the criminal prosecution managed to establish the case, without a doubt reasonable.

“Therefore, the accused is convicted of the accused crime,” said the judge and ordered the woman, who works as a cashier at a comfort store, to execute today’s prison sentence.

She dismissed the lawyer M. Soosai Raj from the National Foundation of Legal Assistance (YBGK), representing the woman, for a seat of the sentence.

Also, the judge ordered the woman to obey the counselors while she was in prison and to be placed under the supervision of the police for one year after completing the prison sentence.

It was accused under section 14 (a) of the Law on sexual crimes against children in 2017, with the act at her house in Damansara Bestari, Petalling Jaya at 17:00 on May 26, 2023. – Bernama
