Nottinghamire police arrested five more people about the killing of Newark Man in Tuxford

Five other people were arrested on a continuous murder investigation.

The Police in Nottinghamire was called to a report of an aggravated theft in Lodge Lane, Tuxford, shortly after 10.40 pm Tuesday (February 25).

Taylor Green, twenty -two years old, was found unanswered and was pronounced dead shortly later.

The police arrested three men, aged 24, 26 and 43, under the suspicion of aggravated burglary.

Two women, aged 23 and 24, were arrested under the suspicion of helping an offender.

All five remain in arrest.

A 24 -year -old man arrested on Tuesday, under the suspicion of the murder of Mr. Green, was now released on a conditional police bail.

A 21 -year -old woman was previously released without accusation.

Detective inspector Clare Gibson, who runs the investigation, said: “Following Tuesday night’s events, the investigation team worked to understand the sequence of events that led to the death of Mr. Green.

“We believe that this was an isolated incident and are still attractive for any additional information that could help our investigation.”
