Lahore (App) – The Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) arrested six fugitives from the United Arab Emirates (United Arab Emirates), desired in cases of terrorism, murder, attempted murder, robbery and fraud.

A FIA spokesman said that the arrests were made by major operations led by NCB Interpol from Fia. The arrested persons were identified as – Sufyan Ali, Akasha Iqbal, Zohaib Shehzad, Abdul Latif, Muhammad Jaleel and Muhammad Ramiz Ashraf and were desired by Punjab Police for various criminal cases.

The accused Sufyan Ali was sought in terrorism and a crime attempt at the police station in Wazirabad in 2022, Sialkot, while Zohaib Shahzad was involved in a robbery in the Satrah police station.

The fugitive Abdul Latif was sought by the Rahim Yar Khan Airport Police section in a case of murder, while Muhammad Jaleel, a fugitive for nine years, was sought by Dera Ghazi Khan police in a robbery case. Lines Police Station, Sialkot.

The FIA ​​confirmed that the red notifications were issued through NCB Interpol to facilitate the arrests.

The fugitives were now transferred from the United Arab Emirates to Lahore Airport, where they will be taught at Punjab Police.

FIA officials stressed that these arrests were possible by close coordination between Interpol Islamabad and Interpol Abu Dhabi.

They reiterated that NCB Interpol, equipped with modern technology, operates 24/7 to follow and retain global fugitives.

The agency reaffirmed the commitment to bring fugitives to court, stating that all available resources have been used to retain criminals who evade law, the spokesman said.
