Joles’ profile appears on Canadian Connect prisoners, a website that presents incarcerated persons interested in posting with public members, for friendship or more.

In his online post, Joles said he was trying to connect with “positive people” and is interested in matching women.

“I have been alone for a while and I’m looking to go back there and meet a great woman,” the post said. “Please send a picture.”

The post continues to say that Joles is a certified personal trainer and life trainer, who started his own business before being incarcerated.

“Another goal I have is to become a certified yoga instructor,” the post said.

Joles’ personal announcement is another sign that he has no remorse for Deslippe’s killing, Deslippe’s mother said on Monday.

“When I read what he wrote on that site, it was as if he had tried to be Nathan,” said Mona Lam-Descpe.

“He wants to be a yoga instructor. He wants to be a driving trainer. It’s like he wants to take over Nathan’s life. He’s sick, it’s terrible. “

The conditional freedom council takes into account a wide range of factors when it comes to a decision, but there is a limited role for the families of the victims when making conditional release decisions, said Lam-Deslippe.

“The system is broken. It’s not just about our situation, ”she said. “It is a re-traumatization every time. . . . It is something we have come to understand, that it is a fact of life for us. “

The families of the victims also face barriers in access to information related to the requests held by the prisoner, such as the transcripts of the hearings, said Deslippe’s father, Tim Deslippe, because the information can affect the offender’s interests.

“I think most people assume that when someone is caught by the police and sent to prison, this is the end of it, but it is not,” said Deslippe.

Last year, a Conditional Freedom Committee in Canada rejected Joles’s request for an escorted temporary absence to go to an indigenous facility that offers traditional healing services. Joles will become eligible to request the condition of conditional freedom in the coming years and will go by 2030, Deslippe said.

In a statement, on Monday, the Conditional Liberty Council stated that the documents in the file of an offender are protected by the Law on privacy, and the victims can request an audio registration of the offender who has hurt him. The information revealed to the victims is made in accordance with the law on corrections and conditional issuance and the draft law of Canadian rights, the Board of Directors said.

Joles, who was sitting in the apartment in the center of Deslippe, as he turned on his feet, beating Fatal Deslippe, pulling Delippe’s body in the bathtub, taking a shower and taking an empty photo with himself covered by blood.
