Cry! Studios purchases “Strangeers with Candy: The Movie”, because Cult Classic celebrates 20 years since the anniversary!

On time for the movie 20Th anniversary, Cry! studios announced the acquisition of all distribution rights in North America, including theater, digital, video on request, broadcast and house entertainment for Strangers with candy: the movieThe Prequel movie of the Aclamated Television Series Comedy Cult Comedy from the 1990s, of the same name.

The brain of writers Amy Sedaris, Paul Dinello and Stephen Colbert, Strangers with Candy: The Film is an irreverent parody of a family site inspired by the specialties after school and “very special episodes” that attended the TV in the 1970s and ’80s. Strangers with candy: the movie It’s a bold jump back. A prequel of the Aclamated Comedy Central series of the same name, is the story of Jerri Blank (Amy Sedaris), a former, forty-seven years old and former Junky, who decides to return home after thirty-two years.

When Jerri arrives at the childhood house, she discovers that her disappearance earlier caused her father to slip into a self-induced coma.
