Owner Home Paradise Pools LLC pleads in order not to apply for the incorrect funds taxes

Panama City, fla. (WJHG/WECP) – Owner Home Paradise Pools is facing multiple accusations of incorrect application of construction funds, according to judicial documents in Bay.

The Bay County Sheriff’s office arrested David Blackerby in February following an investigation, and he entered a plea of ​​not being guilty on March 3.

According to the statement, on May 14, 2022, the victim contacted Home Paradise Pools to install a ground pool at their home. The total value of the contract was $ 63,300.

The judicial registrations show that the contract was divided into six payments to be completed in different stages of the construction.

The statement says that the victim has completed seven payments to the company and received a final repayment statement from Pools Paradise Home showing that the contract was paid in full.

According to BCSO, in June 2024, the victim received a $ 12,339.56 guarantee request from SCP Distributors LLC, on the materials purchased by Home Paradise Pools.

The sheriff’s office says that investigators have requested the history of transactions from the company. The investigator says that, after going through all the information, he has established that the Paradise Pools at home was the wrong application of the funds that should have been used to pay the business invoices.

Also, the investigator says Blackerby was supposed to pay weekly while the business continued to bear debt.

Blackerby was accused of incorrectly applying construction funds.

However, this was not the only court related to the sheriff’s office. Judicial registrations show that Blackerby is facing 9 charges of wrong application for construction funds for various cases.

Another victim has contracted home paradise basins to install an indoor pool for $ 72,114. According to judicial documents, that victim had an outstanding balance of $ 3,714, but the victim said the company did not fulfill the provisions of the contract.

In August 2024, the victim says they received a warranty request from SCP distributors for $ 5,415. 61. After their investigation, Blackerby was accused of incorrectly applying construction funds.

In addition, a victim who contacted the company in June 2022 had a contract to build a ground pool at their house for $ 94,754. The victim said they made payments in a total value of $ 90,310.05 and that they have a balance of $ 4,443.95 due to what the victim says the company has not completed the final inspection.

In August 2024, the victim says they received a warranty request from SCP distributors for $ 24,332.83. Following the investigation, BCSO accused Blackerby with the wrong application of construction funds.

Judicial records also show a fourth victim at home Paradise Pools to install a pool at their home for $ 71,475. Throughout the construction, the victim made several payments to the company totaling $ 68,381.25.

In August 2024, the victim says they received a warranty request from SCP distributors for $ 17,882.06. Following the BCSO investigation, Blackerby was accused of incorrect application of construction funds.

A fifth victim reports that they contacted Home Paradise Pools in June 2022 to build a pool at their home for $ 51,000. Throughout the construction, the victim has completed several payments to the company totaling $ 45,410 and received a contract paid in full from the company.

In August 2024, the victim says they received a warranty request from SCP distributors for $ 15,406.97. Following the investigation, BCSO accused Blackerby with the wrong application of construction funds.

The judicial records show the sixth victim contacted Home Paradise Pools in November 2022, to build a ground pool for their house for $ 74,900. It seems that the victim paid the full amount of the contract.

In August 2024, the victim says they received a warranty request from SCP distributors for $ 6,465.76. Following the BCSO investigation, Blackerby was accused of incorrect application of construction funds.

A seventh victim reports that they have contacted Home Paradise Pools to install a pool at their home in July 2023 for $ 59,034. The victim said they paid $ 56,273.10 and had a remaining $ 2,735.50 balance due to the company that does not meet the contract.

In June 2024, the victim said they received a warranty request from AAA Shotcret in South -EST in terms of the workforce used for the construction of the basin in a total value of $ 7,456.00. Following the BCSO investigation, Blackerby was accused of incorrect application of construction funds.

An eighth victim reports that they have contacted Home Paradise Pools to build a pool at their home in July 2024 for $ 75,000. The victim said they had fulfilled the contract and paid it in full.

In May 2024, the victim said they received a warranty request from the South -East AAA Shotcret in terms of the workforce used for the construction of the basin in a total value of $ 12,348.00. Following the BCSO investigation, Blackerby was accused of incorrect application of construction funds.

The judicial records show that the nine victim says they contacted Home Paradise Pools in August 2023 to build a pool at their home for $ 72,114. The victim said he paid $ 68,400 and did not pay the remaining $ 3,714 due to the fact that the contract was not fulfilled.

In August 2024, the victim said they received a warranty request from SCP distributors for $ 5,415.61. Following the BCSO investigation, Blackeberby was accused of incorrectly applying construction funds.

Blackerby has entered into a plea of ​​not being guilty for all the accusations.
