One dead, more injured in traffic accident in Puerto Pay

Puerto Pay.- A traffic accident took place on Wednesday morning on Avenue Manolo Tavárez Justo, at the intersection with Pedro Clisante in Puerto Plato, resulting in a single fatality and more lesions. The preliminary reports indicate that the incident involved a truck, bus, SUV and a motorcycle, which affects seven people. Three were taken to nearby hospitals and a person died.

The 911 system implemented eight ambulances, five national police units, two from Digesett and one from the Ministry of Public Works to manage the situation. The emergency teams worked to extract the victims, and the road was completely blocked during the operation, causing disturbance of traffic.
