The South -Korean fighter jet accidentally decrease bombs, it is assumed to hurt seven people

Seoul, South Korea (AP) – a fighter jet in South Korea accidentally threw eight bombs on a civilian area during Thursday, is assumed to hurt seven people.

The “abnormal” MK-82 bombs released by the KF-16 fighter jet fell outside a firing range, causing unspecified civil damages, the air force said in a statement.

The air force said he would set up a committee to investigate why the accident happened and examine the extent of civil damages. He said that the combat jet participated in the common live firing exercises of the Army Air Forces.

The air force asked for excuses for provoking civil damages and expressed its hopes for a quick recovery of injured persons. He said he would actively provide compensation and other stages needed for victims.

The Air Force Declaration did not say where the accident happened. But the media from South Korea reported that it took place in Pocheon, a city close to the border with North Korea.

The Yonhap News Agency reported five civilians and two soldiers were injured. Yonhap said the conditions of two of the injured were serious, but not in danger of life. He also said that seven buildings were damaged.
