Gisele Pelicot, the victim of one of the most disturbing cases of mass rape in recent history, was praised for her quiet dignity, after her husband was sentenced to drug and invited dozens of men over a decade to rape. But now she was criticized by her own daughter because she left her down during the French process, because she refused to claim that she was the victim of her father, Dominique Pelicot.

In her book, to remember, Caroline Darian said that her 72 -year -old mother is not willing to believe her and she acted as a “return point” in their relationship. While Dominique Pelicot was sentenced to 20 years in prison, 49 other men were sentenced between 3 and 15 years in prison for the violation or sexual assault of Gisele Pelicot, who refused to remain anonymous to let the trial be organized in public, so that “shame has changed”.
