Dominique’s daughter Pelicot presses accusations of rape against

Caroline Darian, the daughter of Dominique and Gisèle Pelicot, presses accusations against her father, accusing him of drug and raped -something that has always denied.

Last December Dominique Pelicot was sentenced to 20 years in prison Because she has shown her ex-wife, Gisèle, raped her and invited dozens of men to abuse her for almost a decade.

Pelicot filmed his wife’s rapes, collecting hundreds of videos that he perfectly listed on a hard drive.

Among them were two photos with his daughter, in which Mrs. Darnian, 46, says she is clearly unconscious, sleeping in an unknown position and wearing linen she does not recognize.

Dominique Pelicot gave contradictory explanations for photos, but always denied the sexual assault of his daughter.

Mrs. Darian has long said that photos are proof that her father has been drugged and raped.

“I know that he was drugged, probably for sexual abuse. But I have no evidence,” she told the BBC in January, when He also talked about the shock of showing those pictures by the police for the first time.

Heated trial exchanges between Mrs. Darian and her father They were some of the most dramatic in the 16 -week process that shocked France and the world. “I never touched you,” Pelicot pleaded to his daughter during a session. “Lie!” Shouted Mrs. Darian.

Mrs. Darian previously said that she considered to be the “forgotten victim” of the trial, since, unlike the case of her mother, there was no registration of the abuse she is convinced

She told Elle France earlier this week that the accusations she pressed against her father are “symbolic”, but “according to what I said from the beginning: that I am a victim of chemical submission (drug -facilitated attack), but it has never been recognized as such.”

She hired Lawyer Florence Rault to represent her.

For many years Mrs. Rault has been fighting for justice for two women who have been Victims of violent attempts in the 1990s.

One, a young property agent known by the pseudonym Marion, was the victim of a rape attempt in 1999, which he acknowledged.

The other – also a real estate agent in the 20 years – was raped and killed in 1991. The movie is currently being investigated in this case, but has always denied any involvement.

Mrs. Darian said she saw similarities between her and Marion. “We look weird the same. She is blonde, her hair is the muzzle, I was born the same year … I wanted to meet her lawyer and hear all the details,” she told Elle France.

In the police complaint, which was cited by the French media, Mrs. Rault lamented that Mrs. Darnian never offered gynecological exams and was not tested for the drugs that Pelicot used.

Mrs. Rault said that the investigation was focused only on the Gisèle Pelicot and that her client was treated as a “peripheral victim”. She asked the authorities to launch a new “serious and in -depth” investigation.

Béatrice Zavarro, Dominique Pelicot’s lawyer, told the French press that Mrs. Darian’s decision to press the press charges was not surprising, given her statements and beliefs during the Avignon trial. “

She also said that prosecutors in Avignon, southeast of France, said that there are no insufficient “objective elements” to accuse the pelicot of raping and using chemical submission to her daughter.

Forty -nine men were convicted in December with Dominque Pelicot. All were found guilty by at least one accusation – rape or sexual aggression – against Gisèle Pelicot.

Seventeen initially said they would appeal to the charges against thembut seven of them have changed their minds since.

Those who decide to press in front of their calls will be judged at the end of the year in Nîmes, southern France.

The first process – which lasted from September to December 2024 – drew attention worldwide due to Gisèle Pelicot’s decision to give up its anonymity and open the public process and media.
