Borussia Dortmund confirms the defeat kick for the defender

Borussia Dortmund confirmed the defender Daniel Svesson will be left until after the international break, at the earliest, with a knee injury suffered in the draw of the Champions League with Lille.

23-year-old, the left-rear suffered an interior injury to the ligament in an approach and was forced to leave with seven minutes left in the Signal Iduna Park, and now will miss the second stage of the last 16 equality, as well as league games against Augsburg and Leipzig.

It is probably also that the friendships of Sweden with Luxembourg and Northern Ireland will be missing.

Svesson impressed since joining the loan from Nordsjals in January, Dortmund was expecting to take the option to buy him permanently at the end of the season.

His injury could take him out and it is a big blow for the attempt of the new Niko Kovač manager to save a desperate disappointing season for German giants.
