The Middlefield man convicted for the praise of sexual materials involving minor

A Middlefield man was sentenced to 6 to 9 years in prison after being convicted of sexually oriented materials involving a minor, a second degree offense

According to judicial documents, Jeffrey Lee Siniff, 50, was sentenced on March 5 in the common departure of Geauga county by Judge Matthew Rambo.

Siniff’s belief comes from his involvement in the distribution of sexual explicit materials, according to a Post on the Facebook page of the department of the Sheriff of Geauga County.

Sheriff Scott Hildenbrand made a statement following the sentence, emphasizing the county’s commitment to maintain the safety and well -being of his citizens, especially children.

“These types of crimes are unacceptable and we will continue to take each measure to ensure that our communities will remain safe,” he said. “Our children are our most valuable, and their protection against injury is our greatest priority.”

Hildenbrand has continued to mention that law enforcement in Geauga County will remain vigilant in approaching and investigating such crimes, sending a strong warning to anyone who engages in similar activities.

“We are firm in our dedication to support the law, and our message is clear – these offenses will not be tolerated in Geauga County,” Hildenbrand said.
