Pandd arrests three teenagers accused of entering the Academy Store to steal weapons

Two young people are in detention, and an 18 -year -old suspect is in prison on the charge of entering the Sports + Outdoor Academy in Port Arthur on Saturday morning, accused of trying to steal weapons, according to information, the chief of police, Tim Duriso, offered to KFDM/Fox 4 News.

Kyle Demon Tackno, 18 years old, is accused of burying a building and criminal evil (2,500 at $ 30,000), both offenses of the state prison. He will be notified tomorrow and a judge will establish the connection.

Duriso says that it seems that suspects of 14, 15 and 18 years have tried to steal weapons when they were caught.

“This morning, at about 1:30 AM, the Despair Center of the Police Department of Port Arthur (PAPD) received an alarm notification from Academy Sports and Outdoors, located at Memorial 8453 on the arrival, the response to the patrol observed that the front glass doors of the store were shattered, indicating in the business.

The store staff was contacted and provided the officers access to the alarm alarm rooms, which allowed them to confirm the presence of three suspects inside the building. After they were aware of the presence of the officers, the suspects hid in the store.

The Pandd Swat team has been activated, together with the K9 units both from Pandd and the Sheriff of Jefferson County (JCSO). The members of the hostage negotiator (HNT) and the members of the special response team (SRT) have also been dislocated to help. While SRT and Patrol guarded the perimeter of the business, the Pandd Swat team entered the store and successfully caught suspects without hurting anyone.

The three suspects, two young people and an adult man, were arrested and charged with burglary of a building and criminal offenses. The adult man was reserved in the prison in Jefferson County, while the minors were transported to minor detention.
