Man Ansonia is facing charges of fentanel trafficking

Stamford, CT-Daqwon Graham, a 30-year-old resident in Ansonia, was detained in Stamford following a federal complaint that accused of traffic offenses. The arrest was announced by Marc H. Silverman, an American lawyer for the Connecticut district, and Stephen P. Belleau, a special agent for the DEA for New England on Thursday.

Authorities claim that Graham has been identified as a major distributor of Fentanyl in Fairfield County by Bridgeport Task Force from the drug administration and the Stamford Police Department. Its activities are related to a death by overdose in Branford in March 2023 and another in Shelton in October 2024. The purchases controlled by Fentanil were made from Graham in January and February 2025.

Graham was arrested Wednesday on High Ridge Road in Stamford, assumed in possession of about 400 grams of fentanil. Subsequently, he appeared before the judge magistrate of the US S. Dave Vatti from Bridgetport, where he ordered to remain detained.

Accuses against Graham include possession with the intention of distributing 400 grams or more by Fentanil,
