ONDO: Tension as weapons kidnapped the owner of the farm owners, manager, Ransom N100m’s request

The tension has gathered the residents of the OSI community in the Akure North local administration area in the state of Ondo, following the abduction of a farm ownership owner, Olanewaju Oyeleye and his manager.

According to weapons, they invaded the farm over the weekend and abducted the two victims. The farm is located a few kilometers from Akure Airport.

A family source, who wanted anonymity, said that the weapons had contact and demanded a redemption of N100 million before the victims could be released.

The Akure Airport axis has become a dreaded area, because the criminals, especially the kidnappers, have transformed the communities in the area into places of choice for their operations.

The source of the family added that Oyleye, 50, moved four years ago from abroad to set up the Mechanized Farm in Akure.

While confirms the incident, the commander of the Amotekun body in the state, Ade, Adeeeye, who said the operators were dislocated to save the victims and retain the kidnappers, said: “Our men work tirelessly to ensure that the victims are saved from Abductors, while following their location.”

Meanwhile, following the latest incidents, coupled with constant abductions in the area, the inhabitants of Akure North, especially in the Oba -ile, Osi and Elyewo axes, have been caught by fear and tension.

With the news of the Oyeleye kidnapping and his manager who is filtered in the city, other farmers have hastily abandoned the farms and rushed home.
