Ganja worth Rs 3.75 Lakh confiscated in Hanamkonda

Warangal (Hanamkonda): In a major repression, the excise police confiscated 14.50 kg of dry ganja, evaluated at about 3.75 lei and arrested a person on charges of illegal traffic in Kazipet, Hanamkonda district.

Excise inspector Chandramohan reported that the accused, identified as Ramesh Nayak, was caught because of his suspicious behavior. During the interrogation, Nayak, who initially planned to sell smuggling at a premium, confessed that he transported him for higher profits.

The incident came to light during routine supervision, led by the excise police. After observing his suspicious actions, the officers caught Nayak and confiscated the illicit substance. Nayak, a resident who intends to transport and sell Ganja in Pun, was reserved in relevant legal sections and withdrawn in arrest.

The excise duty, but Chandramohan praised the dedicated efforts of his team for the successful operation.
