Amish Man receives a long sentence for children’s rapes | News, sports, jobs

Clearfield – an amish man now classified as a sexually violent predator received a long sentence of state prison on Friday for the sexual aggression of four young girls from Clearfield County.

Simon M. Lee, 35, Westover, was sentenced to a total of 30 to 90 years of state imprisonment, with a consecutive re -entry of nine years.

Lee was initially accused by the state police last year, with multiple allegations of rape, rape of the child, involuntary sexual deviation and indecent aggravated aggression.

During a special hearing in front of Judge Paul E. Cherry, William Allenbaugh II of the Evaluation Committee of Sexual Offenders confessed to Lee’s status as a possible sexually violent predator.

Allenbaugh said that multiple victims who have been assaulted over two years – June 2022 until August 1, 2024 – indicates that Lee suffers from pedophilia, which is a life disorder that has no cure.

Lee was stopped only because his actions were reported to adults, “or could have continued,” said Allenbaugh.

The children have been between 2 and 6 years old, when the attacks began.

In his expert opinion, Allenbaugh said that Lee fulfills the criteria for being a violent sexual predator.

Judge Paul E. Cherry has decided that there is enough evidence and ranked Lee as a violent sexual predator.

Lee, who sat down most of the hearing, was also in court to be convicted in an open pleading agreement for three child rape charges.

Lee must complete the counseling of sexual criminals and comply with all the conditions of Megan’s law.

He ordered him not to have any unattended contact with any woman under the age of 18 or with the victims.

According to the declaration of probable cause, the first victim was between 6 and 8 years old, the victim two had between 5 and 7 years, the victim was between 3 and 5 years old, and the victim was between 2 and 4 years during the period they were attacked.

The investigation started after one of the victims’ parents reported to the police that the four girls were assaulted by Lee in two locations in Burnside Township.

All victims were interviewed at Clearfield County Advocacy Center with a special translator who spoke Pennsylvania Dutch.

The first victim explained that he plays hiding and looking with Lee when IT first happened. She said she touched her under her clothes and raped it, adding that it happened “many times.”

During abuse, she said she tried to leave, but “we wouldn’t let us go.” She confirmed that the others also suffered from Lee.

In her interview, the second victim also stated that Lee would not let her leave when they played hidden.

“He kept me there and I couldn’t free myself,” she said.

Asked how many times this happened, she said, “He did so many times that I don’t remember” and that he touched it every time he saw him.

The victim three reported that she was sexually assaulted several times, according to the report.

The fourth victim refused to speak.

When the parents of two of the victims were interviewed by investigators, they said one of the girls told them about abuse not only about her, but about the other girls. They then spoke to the other girls, who told them it was true.

The father faced Lee, who was supposed to “broken and cried”, begging for forgiveness. Later, a bishop of the church confessed and was amazed in the community for four weeks, according to the criminal complaint.
