The anti-drug department has interrupted a drug trafficking operation in the Capital Sen Soc district, in a Sunday attack, with three suspects taken in arrest and almost 300 kilograms of narcotics and confiscated precursors, together with packaging and manufacturing materials.

The rapid response team of the anti-drug department issued a clarification of March 10, explaining that the pair that was taken into custody was suitable for the descriptions given by the three suspects who were arrested earlier.

They also tried to run away when they saw that the authorities were approaching, explained the notification.

After the questions, it was established that the two were drug users, but were not involved in the Sen Sok manufacturing operation.

Authorities have reiterated that filming and posting videos and photos accusing incorrect conduct officers create unnecessary public debates and negatively affected the police reputation.

They also noted that such actions can compromise the ongoing investigations by leaking confidential information.

The Rapid response team asked all the social users and the media to immediately correct any misinformation that they could have posted or published on this case.
