Phelps man arrested for shopping, burglary at Seneca Falls Walmart

A Phelps man was arrested on Saturday after the police said he had shopped from Walmart, despite being previously banned from the store.

Jason B. Osgood, 53, was arrested by the Police Department of Seneca Falls, at 16:13, after a mandate for his arrest was issued. The taxes come from a December 2024 incident in which Osgood would have passed all the points of sale without paying for the goods.

During the investigation, the authorities found that Osgood was previously banned from Walmart, which led to additional charges. He was accused by Petit Larceny, a class A crime and third -degree burglary, a crime.

Osgood was processed and transported to the prison in Seneca county. He is scheduled to appear in the city of Seneca Falls Court at a later date.
