BHOPAL: A series of bomb farce and kept the police standing in Bhopal on Monday.
The threats have warned of serial bombs in three schools in TT Nagar, MP Nagar and Gandhi Nagar. E -emails said that bombs will detonate at 14:45 and caused the police to “save children if they could.”
Another E -mail was received at the National University of Legal Sciences in the Khajuri area, warning about the IEDs planted in the premises.
Police and bomb team teams were in a hurry at the three schools and the University of Legal Sciences. No explosive device was found, after which the police declared the farce and registered wires at the TT Nagar and Gandhi Nagar police stations.
TT Nagar Shi Sudhir Arjaria said that a school received the threat post around 10:14, and the management saw it around 1:30 pm. The police evacuated the campus and performed a thorough search for the campus and all the vehicles parked there, but found nothing. Similar searches were at the other two schools, said DCP additional Malkeet Singh. The police were still facing the urgency of the school when an alert appeared that the National University of Legal Science received a threat with bomb. The sender, posing as an informant, created a story about the bombs planted in the premises and primed to explode. The police rushed to campus.
A woman’s day program was activated at the time. This was stopped, and the bombshell experts combed the campus, but they found nothing.
The police are trying to follow the origin of the E -mail and identify the mistakes.
