Six men arrested in anti-human traffic operation in Morgan County

Morgan Co., Ala. (Waffle) -six people were arrested in an anti -human traffic operation in Morgan County.

The Criminal Investigation Division of the Sheriff in Morgan County, supported by the prosecutor’s office and Covenant Group, performed the operation in Hartselle between March 6 and 7.

During the operation, six people targeted and asked who they thought were 15 -year -olds or younger children, but they were under -covered law officers.

When they traveled to meet the child, they were greeted by undercover and arrested investigators.

Officials say the six people found profiles through online platforms, social media and other online portals.

Suspects were identified and charged with the following:

Luis said that Cadena Morales, 23 years old from Toney, Bud Winston Cunningham, 48 from Crane Hill, Joffre ... — Luis said that Cadena Morales, 23 years old, Bud Winston Cunningham, 48 from Crane Hill, Joffre Mauricio Salazar Briones, 27 from Athens, Deandre Lamar Floyd, 27 from Hillsboro, Wayn Lynn Rosetti Jr., 59 Madison operations, and Winston Terrell James, 35 Madison were arrested in an anti-Human traffic.(Morgan County Sheriff’s Office)

- Traveling to meet a child for an illegal sexual act
Bud Winston Cunningham, 48 years old, from Crane Hill
- Trafficking in people – 1st degree
- Electronic child’s request
- Traveling to meet a child for an illegal sexual act
- Illegal possession of drug parafernalia
- Dangerous drugs – methamphetamine

Each of the suspects are held in the Morgan County Prison without connection. They will have an Aniah’s law to determine the bond.

These criminals agreed to pay to engage in sexual acts with children and then traveled to designated locations in Morgan County to commit these sexual crimes.
