The man closed after the hub attack during the Blackpool demonstration

Waite, 50, from Cheltenham Road, Blackpool, admitted charges 20 injury and violent disorder and was closed at Preston Crown Court Monday

The attack took place on August 3 during the Blackpool disorder last summer.

Hundreds of people gathered in a demonstration in Blackpool on August 3, where the police and public members entered under physical and verbal attack. The articles were thrown into officers and police vehicles and racist and offensive signs were used.

There was also a serious disorder and plunder in Hounds Hill Shopping Center. Waite said he went to the city for a beer festival and not get involved in disorders.

“Peter Waite not only has clearly played a role in the shameful disorder I saw in Blackpool on August 3, but also caused serious injury to a violent actions,” said the assistant Karen Edwards.

“Such behavior is not welcome in Lancashire and will not be tolerated in our county.

“A number of people have already been brought in justice for the role in the disorder and greet the sentence in this case.”
