A person dead after the tank and tram collide when crossing in Germany

A tanker collided with a tram at a passage to the south -the west of Germany, on Tuesday and both vehicles, leaving a dead and more injured person, the authorities said.

The collision took place at the beginning of the afternoon at the Zeater, part of the municipality of Ubstadt-Weher, north of Karlsruhe. It was not clear as soon as he led to the accident.

The truck was loaded with section oil. Both he and the tram caught fire, although the firefighters managed to remove the fire. The tram had seven passengers on board.

The police and the fire service said that a person has died, without giving details, the German news agency DPA informed. There were more wounds.
