Pakistan’s leader to meet the survivors and commanders who have concluded a train attack by the insurgents

Quetta, Pakistan (AP) – Prime Minister of Pakistan traveled on Thursday in the south – the Balochistan province to meet the survivors of a train attack And the commanders who saved over 300 insurgents who killed 21 civilians and four troops.

BLA regularly targets the Pakistani security forces and attacked the trains, but has never been able to hijack a train in the past. They also attacked foreigners like Chinese workers, of whom thousands are involved in Multimile infrastructure projects in Baloidetan.

Balochrisy rich in oil and mineral is the largest and least populated province in Pakistan. The members of the Baloch ethnic minority say they are facing discrimination and exploitation by the central government.

Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif was to visit Quetta on Thursday. The authorities said that arrangements were taken for the transport of the bodies of the victims in their hometown, and the injured persons received medical treatment.

In a statement overnight, the army said he “confirmed the information” indicating that the attack was “orchestrated and directed by terrorist ring leaders operating from Afghanistan, who were in direct communication with terrorists throughout the incident.”

Pakistan often accuses Kabul for sheltering the Pakistani Taliban, an accusation that the Afghan government refuses.

However, the army in the statement asked the Government of Afghan Taliban to keep their responsibilities and deny its soil for terrorist activities against Pakistan.

According to a military statement, “terrorists, after throwing the railway track, took control of the train and kept them on hostage passengers, including women, children and the elderly, using as human shields.”

Most of the survivors said that the attackers opened the fire on the train windows, entered the cars and killed or injured people before taking them hostages.

Three soldiers guarding the railway were also killed, according to the military spokesman, Lt. Ahmad Sharif.
