Hahira – Valwood School has purchased the Centegix safety platform to allow teachers to seek help for medical emergencies and other crises with a button.

“Centegix offers parents, faculty and quiet staff knowing that this system is now in force. We do not rely on class phones, we do not rely on mobile phones … It is immediately of us, “said John Davis, the head of the school.

The teachers are equipped with badges. Pressing a button on the badge sends the alert.

“When it comes to the safety of our students and staff, I looked for the best option and I think we found it,” said Les Bunte, the director of the Campus Security. “We all feel more safe now with this solution in place.”

“Our company has been founded in a mission to innovate safety solutions to empower and protect people every day. With our wearing crisis badge, there is a 100% adoption of users. Teachers and staff can respond to any incident – from everyday to extreme – anywhere on campus. Said Brent Cobb, CEO of Centegix.

The crisis platform offers the first respondents information on the precise location, allowing him to respond faster in any situation, the school said in a press release. The Centegix solution is unique for its ability to provide the precision of the alert location, the total coverage of the campus and the immediate audio and visual notification, all with a simple activation through the crisis badge, the press release states. Teachers and administrators can use the badge for anything, from the request for everyday events, such as medical emergencies or altercations of students, to the initiation of blockages throughout the campus, including those for credible threats.
