Arrested Milwaukee Police Officer, charged with federal offenses

Milwaukee – a Milwaukee police officer has been arrested and charged with several federal crimes this week, including giving ammunition and offering weapons to an acquaintance.

Juwon Madlock was accused in the federal court with mistake; the transfer of ammunition in a way; holding a firearm by a kind; holding a machine gun; lie to federal agents; obstruction; and selling or receiving stolen goods

A federal criminal complaint claims that Madlock has maintained a relationship with a well -known band member and provided the locations of his rivals. Madlock “has used open-source databases and law enforcement databases to find addresses for these people,” according to investigators.

Madlock acknowledged that he gave the gang limb’s ammunition and offered to sell him weapons, the complaint shows.

The agents also found a weapon at Madlock’s house equipped with a conversion device, which “made a machine gun according to the federal law,” the complaint shows.

Madlock was arrested on March 12 and later resigned from the Milwauke Police Department. He had almost 10 years of service with the department.

“The head of the Milwaukee police, Jeffrey Norman, expects all members, juries and civilians, to demonstrate the highest ethical standards in performing their duties and has been extremely disappointed to find out about incorrect behavior in this case,” a press release of the MPD shows.

MPD cooperates fully with the FBI, because the investigation continues, the statement said.
