Men Medway accused after the man left with wounds that change alive after violent burglary in Coxheath

A man remained with wounds that change in life after an attack with a metal bar and a knife during a violent theft.

Emergency services were called shortly after 20.10 on December 23, 2024, following the reports on a group of people broke in a property near the Heath Road in Coxheath.

It is assumed that the group assaulted two men in the house with the weapons before stealing a clock and ran into two cars.

A 40 -year -old man suffered serious head and arm injuries and was taken to the hospital for treatment.

His injuries are described as changing life.

Another man, also in the 40s, was treated for a serious head injury.

The officers participated on the spot and confiscated a knife and a bar during a search for the area.

Following the initial investigations, eight men and two women were arrested on December 31, 2024 and March 3, 2025, in connection with the incident.

Six men were now accused of aggravated burglary.

These include Keith Cranley, 41 years old, Darren Adams, 27 years old and D’En Samuel, 25, all from Nauwrights Avenue, Chatham.

Ainsley Louis-Jean, 24, from Wiltshire Close, Chatham, Solomon Howard, 23, from Meresborough Road, Gillingham and Tyresse Johnson from Challenger Close, Rainham, were also accused of the same crimes.

All six suspects were sent to the magistrates before the future court hearings.

Two women, aged 23 and 64, and a 21 -year -old man were released on conditional bail, while continuing investigations.
