The cause of the meridian fire was driven as accidental Fire

The Meridian fire on Thursday was driven as accidentally, according to the El Paso County Sheriff’s office.

The fast -moved office was contained 90% starting at 4:45 am on Friday, the office said.

The western edge of the burning area was short on Friday at noon, due to the burst winds, which caused the closing of the coal road from South Franceville for several hours, but the firefighters kept it.

The grass fire, between the Schriever space base and the Colorado Springs airport, burned about 2,540 acres. The inhabitants have been announced that the crews will continue to monitor the fire and work on hot points throughout the evening.
