Chicago Crime: a boy, 16 years old, accused of armed robberies on the northern -west side, says the police

A 16 -year -old boy was arrested in connection with More armed robberies It took place in a few hours on the northern -west side of Chicago last Tuesday.

The boy was arrested on Friday in block 1400 in North Washtenaw Avenue.

The police identified him as the person who participated in several armed robberies on March 11.

The alleged armed robberies took place in the following hours and locations:

  • 2000 block from West St. Paul Avenue in West Town
  • 2700 block from North Albany Avenue from Logan Square
  • 2500 West Huron Street block in West Town
  • 1900 block from North Rockwell Street from Logan Square

The boy was arrested and charged by six charges of armed robbery and a number of aggravated aggression offenses with a deadly weapon.

What we don’t know:

The police did not identify the suspect.

It was not clear whether other people were accused of armed robberies.
