Four held for stabbing, robbing

Four people were arrested for stabbing the cash collection agent of a delivery company in a robbery attempt in the Dwark area, an official said on Saturday.

The accused identified as Bhagith (22), Sumit (22), Vivk Mehra (21 years old) and Vicky Verma (24 years old) are criminals for the first time and have committed the criminal influenced by social tambuses, he said.

Deputy Police Commissioner (Dwarka), Ankit Singh, said: “The victim, Abhimanyu Kumar, was on his way to the office on March 8, when two motorcycle attackers intercepted in a withdrawn place. When he resisted the trial, one of the accused took a knife and stabbed it several times on the neck and stomach, before running away from the stage. “

A PCR utility was in a hurry at Abhimanyu at Indira Gandhi Hospital, where it was undergoing treatment. Based on his statement, a case was registered at the Dwark North Police Section and a team was formed to follow the accused, DCP said.

During the investigation, the police analyzed the CCTV materials in the surrounding areas and identified some suspects. The additional fire of their socializing accounts and technical supervision helped to follow them, DCP added.

He said that during the interrogation, the accused acknowledged that they were inspired by the social tamps and identified a cash collection agent as the target for robbery. Bhagith, who first identified the target, left for the other three.

Following their arrest, the police recovered two motorcycles they traveled, the knife used for stabbing and the accused’s stained blood clothes. The four men were employed as household personnel and motorcycle mechanics, DCP said.
