Firearms, drugs recovered as part of the operations in progress of Virginia State Police

The operations in the course of suppression of crime by the Virginia State Police continue to lead to the recovery of firearms, to confiscate the drugs and to investigate several offenses in the whole state.

A number of significant criminal prohibitions were obtained between March 6 and 13 in partnership with the support of federal and local agencies.

There were recovered in total 36 firearms, with a value of $ 23,000. 23.5 kilograms of drugs were confiscated, along with 35 pills with controlled substances. The denied income from those drugs equalized $ 342,445. The following drugs were recovered:

  • Cocaine: 1.25 kilograms
  • Cracked cocaine: 2.75 ounces
  • Marijuana: 16.38 pounds
  • Heroin: 1.5 kilograms
  • Metamfectamine: 14.3 ounces
  • Oxycontin pills: 35

Also, the operations received 17 games related to games and four new human trafficking tips. A number of 193 cases of trafficking in persons have been investigated or are currently being investigated, with 2,581 individual investigation activities. 61 victims were identified and offered services.
