A LPG cylinder leakage triggered an explosion in a house, leaving a couple injured in the village of Pakho Kalan in Barnala district in Friday hours, the police said. The explosion damaged the roof of the house, besides the fact that it caused damage for two other houses.

Harmel Singh homeowners suffered serious injuries and was in a hospital. He said he woke up after he felt the gas leak, but he collapsed as he tried to open the door. His wife, Jaspal Kaur, suffered head injuries due to roof residues after the explosion. According to family, assets are worth it 8 Lakh were damaged.

The victim’s cousin, Jagjit Singh, said the administration should help the financial family.

SSP Muhammad Sarfraz Alam Barnal confirmed that the explosion was caused by a gas leak. He added a medical -legal team for investigations, he added.
