The leader of the wipe, Kalonzo Musyoka, expressed the availability to engage in discussions with President William Ruto about the appointment of the next IEB president.

However, he insists that he will not enter any political cooperation with the Kenya Kwanza government.

The former vice president rejected the statements that he was in discussions with the camp of President Ruto, calling such inactive speculation reports.

He spoke when he joined Gladys Muthui, who launched his book “Moving Beyond Limition”, at the Outreach Gospel Church, Joska Transformation Center, Nairobi.

“People should not panic or claim that Kalonzo went to the state house,” he said.

“If it is about meeting Ruto to agree with whom the next president of the IEB should be, then I am prepared for that meeting.”

Kalonzo reaffirmed his commitment to his presidential offer of 2027, urging Kenian to make the correct choice in the following elections.

“The next time I meet Ruto will be when he teaches power, just as Uhuru did,” he added.

Kalonzo’s observations come as he actively seek alliances with key opposition figures, including former vice -president Rathhi Gachaua, before 2027 polls.

Recently, he criticized the leader of ODM, Raila Odga, to sign a cooperation agreement with President Ruto, appointing him a betrayal act.

Meanwhile, the selection group for the IEBC president and the commissioners are going to start interviews on Monday, March 17th.
