Man issued on police bail after assaulting the student following the road dispute

Kajang: A man was released on police bail after physically assaulted a school student for a misunderstanding on the road near or impian.

The head of the police in Kajang district, Deputy Commissioner Naazron Abdul Yusof, said that the 39 -year -old suspect was withdrawn for one day on Saturday (March 15) before being released on bail.

“After the end of the re -examination period, the suspect was issued on the police bail. The police are now completing the investigative documents to send the case of the deputy prosecutor of the public,” he said when he was contacted by Sainar Harian (March 16).

The incident took place on Friday (March 14), when a five form student was injured after being hit by an unknown man at a road intersection around 2.15 PM. The 17 -year -old victim filed a police report at 21.24 PM, and the suspect was arrested on the same day.

The victim suffered a fractured nose and received treatment at Kajang Hospital. Preliminary investigations revealed that the victim does not hold a driving license, and the police issued a summons related to this crime.
