3 arrested in biloxi after stopping traffic leads to the recovery of bulk marijuana, multiple firearms

Biloxi, Miss.

On Friday, March 14, investigators of the working group in Harrison Narcotics County carried out a stop of traffic on Shriners Boulevard, near Village Drive in Biloxi.

Investigators have contact with Land Benard Benjamin, 26, Isiah James Smith, 24, and Marvin Bryan Brumfield, from Biloxi, and recovered a small amount of marijuana. After searching for the vehicle, the investigators found a gun and 70 kilograms of bulk marijuana in the trunk.

After further investigations, a search warrant was conducted at a house on the Trailwood Drive in Biloxi. Investigators found 18 additional kilograms of bulk marijuana, three rifles and other parafernials related to drug distribution.

Benjamin, Smith and Brumfield were arrested and taken to prison in Harrison, each with an obligation of $ 250,000. All three were accused of traffic of controlled substances.
