The accused is in court in the Western Cape court, sitting in the Multipurpose Center of Bay Saldanha.

The former Lombaard Lombard Lombaard told the court that he had heard Smith’s plan to sell Joshlin before attending the alleged incident.

Lombaard said that the day before Joshlin disappeared, followed Smith to take Joshlin to a white car, where they met an unknown woman who gave Smith a small package.

Lombaard said Smith Smith later confessed that he sold Joshlin to a Sangoma for R20.000.

She said that Smith offered him and Van Rhyn R1.000 to shut up, while the rest of the money will be divided between her and Appollis.
