Davids, who is a Constanţa at the upington police station, said her sister contacted him a few days after Joshlin disappeared.

Davids told the court that he asked Smith about Joshlin’s disappearance over the week after he disappeared, but received vague answers from the accused.

The witness said that when he contacted Smith seven days after Joshlin disappeared, Smith told him that Joshlin was still in the Gulf of Saldanha and that someone wanted to sell Joshlin, but they could not because the city had become a point of view.

Davids told the court that during an interview in live social networks with a prominent politician, Gayton McKenzie, Smith told viewers that Davids, as a police officer, told Smithlin that Joshlin was sold for R20.000.

Davids denied this, saying that the only information he received was from Smith.

The process continues.
