A man from Gainesville has recently been arrested on charges of methamphetamine trafficking after a common investigation between Hall and Madison County authorities.

Hall County Sherriff’s office said Trevor Wade Southers, 24, was a passenger in a SUV drawn on Thursday, March 20, at Mondy Mill Road and Creekside Place.

It seems that the deputies found almost 2.3 kilograms of methamphetamine in the vehicle. The street value of drugs was almost $ 78,200.

Investigators of the special investigation unit have established that the drugs belonged to Southers.

Investigators then learned about methamphetamine at a Madison County residence.

“They provided the information to the office of the sheriff in Madison County, whose staff has managed at the same time in March 20,” HCSO officials said in a press release.

MCSO arrested a suspect and confiscated almost four kilograms of methamphetamine, several firearms and cash.

Southers stays in the prison in Hall County unrelated.
