The youth arrested for the gold ornament robbery in Bhimavaram

Kakinada: Bhimavaram Police, a city, arrested a P. Victor Paul (23 years old) on Tuesday because he injured a 60 -year -old woman with a knife and snatched the golden ornaments.

The superintendent of the West Godavari district, Adnan Nayem Asmi, told reporters that victim Yerramasetti Manga Tayaru and her husband Veera Swamy Naidu are residents of Ammiraju thota in Bhimavaram.

On March 28, the accused arrived in their house and presented himself as a distant relative. Then he searched some of their house on rent. Later, he told the couple that his family members came to see the portion.

Meanwhile, Veera Swamy had to go out. Taking advantage of this opportunity, Victor Paul pulled out a knife, injured the Tayaru manga, snatched the jewelry and fled from the scene.

On his return, Veera Swamy brought her wife to a hospital and filed a complaint with the Bhimavaram Police who registered a case and took over the investigation. They arrested Victor Paul and recovered 64 grams of gold ornaments from him.

SP ASMI warned people to avoid strangers. He congratulated the Bhimavara One Town police because he cheated on a short time, with the help of CCTV filming.
