Southwest Florida Softball 2025 Midseason report: team ranking, players awards

We are about the middle of the high school softball season, so it’s time to take the pulse of the local competition.

The state tour is just over six weeks away, and South -Florida Vest should be represented once postsezon starts in May.

While heading for the second half of the season, here is the ranking of the press/press news team/Napoli Daily News, along with our candidates for the player of the year in the middle of the season, the pitcher of the year and the new income of the year. You can vote in the polls below to tell you in winners.

The records and statistics used below come from games played by April 1.

Softball ranking from the middle of the season

1. Evangelical Christian (13-2)

The state champions remain the top team of the area. Despite the graduation of players like Ace Zoe Yzaguir and Outfielder Kylie Shaw, the experience gained by the younger team made the perfect transition for Sentinels. This starts with the pitching staff led by Junior Hayden Billie. The crime has an average of almost 10 rolling with 150 strokes per season.

2. North Fort Myers (10-3)

The red knights avenged an additional loss for what with an 18-8 monster victory against Sentinels last week, although not against the top arm of Sentinels. The team was against some of the most difficult competitions in the state at several tournaments in the neutral site and won victories against the University of Christian, Palmetto, Westmin Academy and Arnold. The team recorded 186 hits with nine players on the list in double figures for the season.

4. Bishop Verot (8-4)

The Vikings faced the most difficult program in the area and marked the biggest victory after defeating East Ridge 5-2 last month. Verot has the luxury of a Pluto de Ulciori with Crimson Lawrence, Payton Breadmore and Paige Bettermann, who helped limit opponents to 43 rounds. 5. Gulf Coast (11-1)

Brian Hodgson’s team appeared as the team that beat in Collier county, while the Veteran group gave up a single competition until this season. 6. Mariner (9-4)

By giving up only 39 running ranks, Tritons enhances one of the most solid defenses in the area. The management of that group is the Gabi Winters Uliorul, who leads the area with 159 attacks. Mariner has recorded four closures and seems to be closer to top challenging teams.

7. St. John Neumann (9-2)

Celtic looks like one of the most improved groups in the area. The team has dropped only a few games this season a 7-0 loss at CE and a 3-1 decision for Bishop Verot. The crime has an average of almost 10 running a game and is led by the subclassic Cecelia Spencer and Jesse Camejo. 8. Riverdale (8-5)

10. Labelle (6-9)

Cowgirls are at a slower start this season, but Ray Marroquin’s groups deal with some of the best games and games in the area. Seniors Carli Spencer and Emorie Anderson have constantly produced on the Labelle plate. The team was injured by too many errors on the field.

The players of the year from the middle of the season

Emma Brannan, Cape Coral

Gianna Frino, Barron Collier

Frino’s undeniable power is one of the most threatening bats in the area. The senior led in a team of 22 rounds, and 12 of his 21 hits left for additional bases, including five rounds. Frino also leads the team Cougars in the stolen bases and was without mistakes in the field.

Kee Green, ecs

The hero of the championship game for Sentinels continued to be an engine behind the team’s success. The junior leads EC in Hituri (24), runs (28) and stolen bases (21). He also posted a 0.66 stellar OBP.

Abigail Hynes, North Fort Myers

In a strong line of red knights, Hynes was a standout this season. The senior hits .591 with 17 RBI and 28 marked rounds. It drives north with 26 strokes, including three doubles, three triples and four rounds at home.

Crimson Lawrence, Bishop Verot

The Vikings faced a program maneuver, and Lawrence was a consistent two-way player for the team. The senior has a team of 17 strokes and 15 with an average fight of .459. As a Ulcior, in 24 halves he recorded a 2-0 record with an era of 1.15, succeeding 40 beats and walking only two.

Gianni Torres, Fort Myers

The transition was perfect for Torres, who paid at Bishop Verot last season. The junior leads the green wave in the battle media (.542), OBP (.617), Hits (26) and RBI (24). At Catcher, Torres was perfect and performed 57 outings and 17 assistants.

Paige Bettermann, Bishop Verot

Hayden Billie, ECS

Billie shone as successor to the legend of ECS Zoe Yzaguirre. Allowing only an OBP .190, the junior broke out 94 battles in 62 hats. ECS won every match that Billie started this season.

Sophia Escobar, St. John Neumann

Escobar’s efforts in the circle are an important reason why Celtics started the season strongly. The senior posted a 7-2 record with an era 1.00. Escobar broke out 97 batsmen in 49 halves while walking on opponents 11 times. It is only 10 strikes away from 500 for her career.

Kaliyah Williams, North Fort Myers

The red knights faced a difficult competition this season, and Williams was at hand. Starting with 11 out of 13 games for North, the junior led his team to a 9-3 record. With one era 2.84, she broke out 70 beats.

Winters Gabi, sailor

Winters is the early attack leader of the area, registering 159 in 81 halves. Sophomore Ace registered a record of 1.81 and has two -digit strikes in all, except for two games, this season. Winters led Titons to nine victories.

Jesse Camejo, St. John Neumann

The freshman has an average of .528 on the plate with 19 strokes and 20 RBI. It drives Celtics in extra-basic hits, including a pair of home rounds.

Kyra Caveder, Oasis

Caveder appeared like a two -way star for sharks. She broke out 75 beats in 12 appearances, while led Oasis in the battle media (.579), RBI (27), running (25) and rounds from home (4).

Mia Fasolino, Gulf Coast

Freshman contributed impressive to the early success of sharks. Fasolino equalized for the high team with 17 strokes while he had an average of .395 at the plate and scored 17 running.

Lolly Lane, Fort Myers

Freshman offered the depth of the Greeds key in the circle. Lane led Greasties to five victories and broke 49 battles in his 38 halves. She faced some of the state -of -state competition, including Doral Academy and Parrish Community.

Willa Pagnutti, Bishop Verot

The bud was very successful to start the season. Pagnutti is 50 percent of the time and stole 13 bases, both leading the team. Started the season on a series of 10 games that hit.

Jamie Marie Penia, Riverdale

The boyfriend experienced a lit start in her high school career. With an OPS of 1,653, the penny leads Raiders in each striking category, plus 11 stolen bases. It has 12 additional basic blows, including six doubles, two triples and four rounds at home.

Morgan Tucker, sailor

The bud was an element full of crime in Triton. Fighting .500, her 24 strokes, 19 scored running, and 11 stolen bases lead the team. Tucker posted eight multi-hit games for the mariner.
