Rowan County Sheriff’s Office reports
• A littering/waste incident was reported on Lake Ford Road at 1:06 p.m.
• A theft of a motor vehicle from a property on Greenway Drive reportedly occurred between 4 and 4:25 a.m. Nov. 5.
• An attempted theft of a motor vehicle from a property on Sells Road was reported between 1 and 4:04 a.m. Nov. 5.
• Property damage to a vehicle was reported in Rowan County on Airport Road around 5:15 pm Nov. 5.
• Matthew Stirewalt, 40, was arrested Nov. 5 and charged with assault on a female.
• Lakeisha Baker Glover, 38, was arrested Nov. 5 and charged with criminal bad check and obtaining property in exchange for a bad check.
• Kevin Antonio Smith Jr., 26, was arrested Nov. 5 and charged with malicious conduct by a prisoner. He was in an argument with another inmate at the Rowan County Detention Center and when the two were separated, he threatened a deputy.
• Jeremy Taylor Little, 29, was arrested Nov. 5 and charged with contributing to the delinquency of a minor.
Salisbury Police Reports
• A non-injury assault with a gun on Statesville Boulevard reportedly occurred between 6 and 6:25 a.m. Nov. 4.
• A hit-and-run on North Church Street is reported to have caused property damage between 10:00 p.m. Nov. 3 and 10:45 a.m. Nov. 4.
• A theft of a firearm on Kenly Street occurred around 10:55 a.m. Nov. 4. Total estimated loss was $100.
• A theft on Arbor Drive occurred between 4:03 p.m. Nov. 2 and 11:53 a.m. Nov. 4. The total estimated loss was $124.
• A motor vehicle accident followed by an assault on Mahaley Avenue reportedly occurred around 2:20 p.m., Nov. 4.
• A burglary on Pearl Street was reported between 30 Oct 7:48 and 1 Nov 19. The total estimated loss was $850.
• A burglary on Faith Road reportedly occurred between 9:01 a.m. and 10 p.m., Nov. 4. The total estimated loss was $10.
• A theft from Freeland Drive occurred between 4:39 and 5 pm on November 5. The total estimated loss was $25.
• A motor vehicle theft on Crane Creek Road allegedly occurred between 5:10 a.m. and 5:45 a.m. Nov. 6.
• John Fitzgerald Stinson, 59, was arrested Nov. 4 and charged with assault on a female.
• Alvin Cecil Watkins, 87, was arrested Nov. 4 and charged with theft.
• Terry Eugene Springs, 33, was arrested Nov. 6 and charged with assault on a female.
